Almost There!!

Yeah! I finished almost the whole WebQuest, just missing my conclusion. It turned out way more fun than I thought it was going to be and I even got to include actual making of art! Woot woot!
Now let's see how it goes in critique.

To be continued...

QuestGarden

Ah! I am getting upset at QuestGarden. I would love it it just let me type in the box and click and write and then hit save. I hate going to all these buttons that open new windows. I'd like a set of tabs at the top for my pages, then another tab for the preferences and stuff. I just can't see what it going on like this, it doesn't look the way it does when I go to preview, and that drives me nuts!

Focus

My WebQuest is moving right along, but my problem seems to be focus. I thought I knew what I wanted to do, but I have found that as I move along I am changing my mind about what I want to focus on, what I want the kids to do, what the project will be and how I will evaluate it. I know that I want to talk about Japan and the changing art of the country. I want to expose the kids to lots of different art and to create their own versions of it. I want them to know who the big artists are and what their media was.
I'm getting there.

A good idea of what your WebQuest will be
A study of an ancient culture and how the art of that culture has changed over time
The standard(s) you would like your WebQuest to teach
Visual Arts Standard: Grade 5, View selected works of art from a major culture and observe changes in materials and styles over a period of time.
An idea of a final product for the WebQuest that will show that the students have mastered the standard(s) covered
An art journal that includes both writing and sketches
